- READING: reading for at least 20 minutes a day promotes literacy. Continue reading aloud to your learner even after they are proficient, independent readers.
- Spelling patterns: each week learners will have lists of words that promote certain patterns. Learners can spend extra time at home with their words if they need additional practice.
- Unfinished work: when learners need a bit more time or haven't used their time wisely, they may have unfinished work that they may complete at home.
- Delve into learning (projects & interests): Lifelong learners continue their love of learning outside of school. Whether it's a current project we are working on or just an area of interest for your learner, encourage deeper learning.
- Progress toward ILP goals: Many learners have ILP goals that require some time and input at home in addition to school.
